Abu Dhabi Mar - Exhibition 2xClient: Abu Dhabi Mar, UAEBudget: 20.000 € + Length: 1:25 minutes, 3 minutes Format: HD 1080p (master) Purpose: both movies were used on big screen during various exhibitions as well as in-house and online. watch movie 1: ONE - The Explorer watch movie 2: TWO - The Dream The assignment; ONE - a short and solely visual voyage leading to AbuDhabiMar, locating the client in Abu Dhabi, a city in development and touching their final product; ultra-modern super yachts. TWO - The assignment initially seemed to be a mission impossible as we were given a 100K script to fit into a substantially smaller budget with an extremely short timeframe. Both movies were used on big screen during various exhibitions as well as for in-house and online purposes. ONE - We presented a storyboard based on a male character exploring the fantastic world of AbuDhabiMar. All scenes with our protagonist were shot in a local green-screen studio. Later we created the composition, integrating him into this open space environment representing AbuDhabiMar world, a place without limits. TWO - We created a simplified storyboard based on a local yacht engineer growing up with the values expressed throughout the movie. His- and Abu Dhabi’s development is seen through the eyes of his son who as well dreams of a successful future in yachting. We went to the Emirates capital Abu Dhabi to film on the various locations. The boy was shot in a local green-screen studio. |
